One unique program of Calstar Home is facilitating residents in writing an autobiography. Even if he/she is unable to write it alone, the resident can have it transcribed.  The administrators will gladly help in this exciting process. The autobiography may even be bound, and would make a great memory for
generations to come.

Special Care

Calstar Home is an authorized hospice care facility. Here you will find a fine place for those who desire to live out the last moments of their live not in a hospital or other clinical setting but in a comfortable home. Because the owner is also an ordained clergyman,  the client will be able to receive spiritual care too.

We accept clients with dementia or Alzheimer’s disease. Services for such individuals vary depending on their condition, so please ask us.

At Calstar Home, registered nurses are usually readily available to care for clients.

Fees

Fees vary with each resident.  The standard resident is one who can handle “activities of daily living” (ADLs) without assistance.

Then, Standard basic service fee is:
$3,000~$3,500 for a single room
$2,500~$2,800 for a double room

Again, standard  basic service fee is dependent upon each resident’s personal condition on a case-by-case basis. Generally most of residents pay the  standard  basic service fee plus extra.  This can be discussed upon meeting. Fee schedule is subject to change without notice.
